Dear Parent/Guardian,
It was a joy to attend the delightful Year 2 production A Feast of Friendship this week. Our young performers brought our values of Diversity and Community to life through their confident storytelling, singing, dancing and Nanta drumming. Please click through to the Whole School section to see more photos from their performance.

Today we hosted our first Senior School Career Fair, and I was deeply impressed by the remarkable turnout of parent volunteers who generously shared insights about their professional journeys. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a rich variety of expertise within our parent community, and these authentic interactions provide invaluable guidance for our students as they consider their future options. My sincere gratitude to all who participated in making this event such a success. Click through to the Senior School section for more on that.

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news from our wider Dulwich family! We’ll soon be welcoming a new sister school with the opening of Dulwich College Bangkok in August 2026. Adam Gibson has been appointed as the Founding Head of College, and I’m really looking forward to working with him as a colleague. The new campus sounds amazing – it’s being designed with a strong focus on sustainability, wellbeing, and cutting-edge learning spaces. It’s wonderful to see our Dulwich community continuing to grow and bring our unique educational approach to more students across Asia. This expansion creates even more opportunities for collaboration and connection between our schools in the years ahead. Read the full article in the Whole School section here.

This week we also welcomed our Quality Assurance visit team led by Nick Magnus, Head of Dulwich College Singapore. The team was impressed by the kindness, community spirit and high standards they observed throughout the school. Their thoughtful feedback and questions will help inform our strategic planning as we continue to enhance the educational experience we provide.

I had the pleasure of visiting our neighbouring school, Gyeseong Elementary, along with members of our leadership team. We were warmly welcomed by Headmistress Sister Theresa and her team, and enjoyed productive discussions about future collaborative partnerships. During our tour of their outstanding campus, we observed students enthusiastically engaged in after-school activities. Please visit the Whole School section to see more.

I was highly impressed with the exceptional work of our IB Art students June and Connie, whose exhibition opened today. My sincere thanks to Jane Chang, our Head of Art, for her dedicated efforts in creating this showcase of student talent. I highly recommend everyone visit the display by the bus office to experience their amazing work firsthand.

As we approach the end of Term 2, I’d like to remind everyone about our new MyDulwich platform which is replacing our weekly e-updates and Primary School’s Week Ahead emails. If you haven’t logged in yet, I encourage you to do so to ensure you continue receiving important school communications. To help you navigate this new system, we’ve created several useful resources including this PDF guide as well as video guides on logging in, installing the web app on your mobile device (iPhone and Android), and setting notification preferences. Please visit the Whole School section for complete details.
Finally, it’s wonderful to see the spring weather arriving at last! It’s hard to believe we were experiencing near-blizzard conditions just a few days ago, and now we’re looking forward to lovely warm temperatures this weekend. I hope everyone takes the opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and perhaps spend some time outdoors. I look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday as we begin our final week of Term 2 together.
Best regards,
Alison Derbyshire
