Your Feedback Matters: Parent Surveys
The College has extended the deadline for the CIS Community Survey and reminds parents that the annual Dulwich Experience Survey is also currently open. Both surveys provide valuable insights that help shape the future direction of Dulwich College Seoul.
Council of International Schools (CIS) Community Survey
Extended Deadline: Monday, 10 March 2025
This survey is a crucial component of our reaccreditation process, helping us identify our strengths and areas for growth. We kindly ask that you complete one survey per enrolled child through the CIS Community Survey link.
The survey is available in multiple languages (including Korean) via the language selector in the top right corner and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Results from this survey are essential for the College’s continued development and reaccreditation process.
Dulwich Experience Parent Survey
Deadline: Tuesday, 25 March 2025
Our annual Dulwich Experience Parent Survey focuses on your personal experiences as a parent and provides an opportunity for you to share written comments about areas of strength and areas for improvement. You can access this survey through the Dulwich Experience Parent Survey link.
This survey is available in both English and Korean and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It provides the College with valuable insights into families’ experiences and helps identify areas for continued improvement.
Parents with questions about either survey are encouraged to contact marketing@dulwich-seoul.kr for assistance.

Ramadan

At Dulwich College Seoul, we recognize and respect the significance of Ramadan for our Muslim students, staff, and families. This holy month is a time when many Muslims go through a challenging but meaningful experience. Ramadan is special because Muslims fast from morning to evening, meaning they don’t eat or drink during daylight hours. At the end of the month, there is a joyful celebration called Eid, where families and friends gather to enjoy delicious food and exchange gifts!
As a community, we believe in supporting others through kindness and awareness. The Dulwich College Seoul community wishes a happy Ramadan to all our Muslim friends and families!

Interview with JP, Our School Photographer

On whether he enjoys being a photographer:
JP loves meeting new people and believes communication is a key part of photography. He enjoys capturing a person’s best side but admits he has high expectations when it comes to posing skills.

On how he copes with challenges:
Working with younger students can be challenging as they often struggle to focus and can be quite shy. He also acknowledges that some people feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, which can make taking their photos more difficult.

Planet Hack: Our Plan to Transform Bangkok

Our project aims to transform Bangkok into a sustainable, resilient city, addressing flooding risks and overcrowding. We use underutilized spaces to harmonize the city with its environment, inspired by Buddhist culture and Thailand’s rich natural heritage. We focus on green spaces, local plants, and features like cost-effective bike paths to align with SDG 11 for inclusive, safe communities.
Using 3D modelling, we showcased the “sponge city” concept, which absorbs and manages rainwater to reduce flooding. Our designs incorporate Thai-inspired architecture, biophilic elements, and local plants to enhance the connection to nature and improve urban resilience. With this design we won globally in our age group.
Using the prize that we have received, we were able to create a small green space that is growing in Ms Fullagar’s classroom. Currently, we are sprouting basil and strawberries, and we even gave them cute pet names! Our biggest plant right now is Sprout, who has been growing big roots in the water. We feed the plants with nutrients that were provided for us every 2-3 weeks and change the water every month. One thing that we found interesting was how fast the basil plants actually grow compared to the strawberries. Unfortunately, we have had a couple of plants that have died, so we are planning on replanting them. Otherwise, we have a big garden community, and we are hoping on expanding it in the future! Join us for an event on Fostering Male Allies ft. Best-selling Author James Rhee of Red Helicopter

We are pleased to invite you to the AMCHAM Korea‘s Women’s Leadership Committee’s very first event this year on 27 March on fostering male allies to advance women’s empowerment in the workplace. James will speak about the ideas behind his book, the red helicopter, whose Korean version recently came out, and how it relates to the topic at hand, the importance of male allies in creating more inclusive workplaces (and more successful companies).
This event is intended to bring male allies into the fold. We thought it would be a perfect opportunity to lower the barrier for male allies who want to support women’s empowerment but may need some pointers and strategies to do so.
After a brief talk by James, Dulwich College Seoul’s Director of Communications, Marketing & External Relations Namju Cho will moderate a panel of distinguished speakers including James, Joo-Seuk Maing (맹주석), and Jade, Young-ok Kim of LEGOLAND Korea Resort.
Dulwich College Seoul is proud to sponsor this meaningful event and host it at our College, in partnership with AMCHAM Korea, British Chamber of Commerce in Korea and AHK Korea (Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry). Diversity and inclusion are core values and we are looking forward to the robust discussion to be had! (We recently hosted the Women in International Schools Empowerment (WISE) conference and our historic all-female academic leadership team was extensively covered in local media.)
Space is limited so please RSVP early via this link here. Light refreshments will be served afterwards. See flyer and link for details.
